When scheduling a virtual appointment we will confirm this appointment will take place using technology rather than a traditional face-to-face office visit. Just another way we are always with you! ANY PATIENT CAN SCHEDULE A VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT!
The morning of your appointment you will receive an email with the link to our virtual appointment waiting room :
If you are seeing Dr. Attanasio his link is provided here: https://doxy.me/drattanasio
If you are seeing one of our Nurse Practitioner providers (Caroline or Melanie), their link is provided here: https://doxy.me/ritnermedicalassociates
The day of your appointment our nurses or medical assistants will reach you via phone and virtually room you. This process is the same as it would be in person. The staff member will ask you the reason for your visit, some details about your symptoms, review your medications, and ask for vitals. Its a good idea if you can gather any of this information before your visit:
Blood pressure (if you have an at home cuff)
Temperature
Weight
Oxygen Saturation (through a pulse ox--if you have one!)
Heart rate-you can do this by timing the number of heart beats for 15 seconds and multiply by 4!
After the staff member has completed rooming you, you can click the link provided in your email, text, or above and "check in" to the virtual waiting room. When the provider is ready for your visit, your session will begin-with seeing the provider face to face, virtually!
To keep most up-to-date, check our website or call our office for any updates on office closures.
If you have any recommendations for local pharmacies, home care agencies, palliative care providers, or transportation services let us know! Email us at messages@ritnermedicalphila.com
Medicare enrollment for person's turning 65 should be aware of all choices they are offered for insurance. The sessions are tentative for end of April and September right before annual enrollment.
We are THANKFUL for our staff as they continue to partner with us during this pandemic. We are grateful for your continued dedication to our office!
